FODetect® is currently installed at Logan International Airport in Boston for
FAA & MASSPORT (Massachusetts Port Authority) evaluation
Boston, September 20, 2008 – Xsight Systems Inc., a leading provider of airport safety and capacity enhancement solutions, is showcasing for the first their flagship product, FODetect®, an automated system for detection of Foreign Object Debris and monitoring of airport airside surfaces, during the ACI-NA 2008 conference and exhibition in Boston, MA.
Xsight will be exhibiting at booth #438, September 22nd & 23rd, where it will be presenting its latest version of the FODetect® system.
The FODetect® is a real-time, effective technological solution to this costly and dangerous problem, offering a combined electro-optical and radar solution that performs continuous automatic FOD detection on airport runways and taxiways. It has a high resolution detection capability enabling the detection of small objects and all materials types. FODetect's® unique combination of radar and optical technologies provides an airport operator both a detection and analysis capability.
In addition, the FODetect® system has been installed at Logan International Airport in Boston for FAA & MASSPORT evaluation. Xsight representatives will be offering guided tours to the evaluation site on Sept. 22nd at 1pm and on Sept. 23rd at 9am.
