Dr. Amnon Krupnik, VP Software and Algorithms
Dr. Krupnik has over 20 years of experience with R&D activities related to image processing, computer vision, remote sensing and mapping, both in academic and industrial environments. His involvement with these activities includes scientific research, hands-on development and management of R&D groups.
Before joining Xsight, Dr. Krupnik headed a large image processing and computer vision R&D group at Rafael-Advanced Defense Systems. Prior to that, he served as a faculty member at the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology.
Dr. Krupnik
earned his BSc and MSc degrees in Geodetic Engineering and a BA degree in Computer Sciences from the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology, and a PhD degree from the department of Geodetic Science, The Ohio-State University.
